Look what I made!!

I am really starting to love the crafting! I made these scrabble tile pendants for our ward Super Saturday and have fallen in love! There is definitely a learning curve but I have finally worked out the bugs I think...I have a friend who used a photo of her little one and another had her children draw pictures and then shrunk them down to fit and then gave them to her kids teacher. So many possibilities!!

Sarah turns 2 June 8th (yep still trying to catch up)

Aunt Marnee April Uncle Dan Grandma Hill and Grandpa Hill
Our Sweet Sarah Ella turned 2 on June 8th! She is our dear little surprise and we all love her SO MUCH! I am convinced that she is spoiled with love and attention like nothing I have ever seen. Sarah's big sisters and brother absolutely dote on her and she knows it too. Sarah loves butterflies and the color blue very much right now. She was extremely upset on Sunday that she wasn't a blue sparkly butterfly. Her favorite food is anything that doesn't require her sitting down for a meal. She is a snacker. Sarah loves to go to Church and nursery and adores her teachers there. Just yesterday she told me she wanted her sippy filled.. I said OK and started to get up and she told me No I do it myself!! I thought well sure kid you are short what can you do but go ahead and give it a try. Next thing I hear is the water running in the kitchen. I look to see my Sarah hanging from the kitchen sink by her belly and a stool obviously pushed out from under her feet accidentally. She didn't cry or make a peep. She was just looking around at her situation. I could just see her thinking now how am I going to get out of this. I think we are going to have to keep an eye on this one!!

Last day of school and shaving cream fights

It is tradition (dont you know if you do something twice it suddenly becomes tradition LOL) to have a shaving cream fight after school on the last day of school to ring in the summer. Let me just say there is never more fun than can come from 5, buck a piece, shaving cream cans can buy but I will only allow it that one weekend because it is a mess to clean up and it does something very odd the the hair. The kids know to get as much out of it as they can while they can so needless to say they do.
PS we learned that the aloe kind burn a little and will be avoided next year.

Why does this friendly gesture look very suspicious?
HO HO HO!!

Aunt Marnee is more than happy to hose them off.

I have a lot to catch up on so be sure to scroll down to get it all.

We went down to Springville the end of April to visit Jason's Aunt Loris and Uncle Darwin and to see Great Grandma Lucy for her 97th birthday. Can I just say I love Loris and Darwin so much! There are only a handful people in my life that are as welcoming and loving as the 2 of them. I have always felt very accepted by this sweet couple and we didn't get a single picture of them while we were down there. How does that happen? So Sorry. The picture above is the kids eating creamies in the kitchen of the house that everyone loves! (Loris' house that is it is like a 100 years old and the kids all call it the doll house) Seriously it is such a neat little house with a lot of land that Darwin takes amazing care of. I cant say enough!!

Cute picture of Sarah but look at that grass too! Darwin you are amazing!!

There is always a line for the famous tire swing!! This is Gabby in the swing Makayla pushing and CJ waiting his turn.

Jason's can do attitude! He actually made this work.

Weeeeeee!

Look what I made!!

This is a handy dandy bow holder for my little girlies that I can hang on their wall. In looking for Super Saturday Crafts I have found a bunch of new stuff to try. I think making the decision what we want to make will be the hardest part. I knew I could use this either way. I love it if I do say so myself!!!

Actually holding the bows! Yep! It really works!

This is intended to be a stocking holder for those of us pitiful souls that aren't lucky enough to have a mantel. It turned out really cute but I think I want to seal it first before I call it officially done. PS the knobs are cabinet drawer pulls.

After the funeral was over we drove Lexi and Lindsay up to camp above Kamas. It was neat to see it and say hello to everyone there. The girls seemed happy to finally be there with their friends.

Grandpas Funeral

My dad dedicated the grave site

Ardis at the family prayer
Kids at the viewing
I debated whether I should post this or not but decided that considering this is my form of a family history it needs to be included. I love my Grandpa Bitner with all of my heart and him going was really difficult for me. My very most favorite memory to revisit of Grandpa is that every single time he would see me he would say (with his famous twinkle in his eye) "there's my girl!" and follow it up with a giant bear hug. I felt like I was the most loved and important little girl in all the world! I WAS his girl! Later I found out that he said this to many of my cousins and he made all of us feel as special as I did. What a special special man! He is going to be a great asset where he is now and I am so grateful to have had as much time with him as we did.
