A Glimpse Into Our Daily Life in November

Nov 1-Lexi YW region volleyball game. They are still in after all. We had a good long visit with Nick Anne Marie and Nicco and Gabby went to Griffin Winward's birthday party

Nov 2-Stake Conference

Nov 3-FHE game night-We played 5 crowns and Lindsay won by a long shot.

Nov 4-Election Day. We had to arrive by 5:30AM and were home by 8:40PM It was an enjoyable experience and we would definitely do it again!

Nov 5-Lexi and Lindsay went to a filming for a church production for YW tonight.

Nov 6-Relief Society Pres Meeting. CJ had a first aid merit badge session. (required for his eagle) Lexi and the YW team were eliminated tonight at the volleyball game. Bummer.

Nov 7-Date Night! Also the beginnings of Christmas Shopping. Yikes!

Nov 8-One on one time with CJ and Lindsay (last Saturday it didn't happen for Lindsay's turn so this week it is.)We shopped Old Navy's killer sale for outerwear for the family!

Nov 9-Visited my brother Seth in the hospital. Hopefully he goes home tomorrow.

Nov 10-FHE Lesson night on Gratitude Seth came home from the hospital today.

Nov 11-Helped my mom make pies all day and then went to Cheryl's son Sheldon's twin baby boys shower.

Nov 12-YW in Excellence was Excellent! CJ had his last first aid session for the required merit badge.

Nov 13-Enrichment committee meeting and we were able to plan nearly all of our enrichment Christmas party! YEA! Presidency meeting.

Nov 14-Anne Marie Nick and Nicco came for a lovely visit! Love you guys! Date Night and Christmas Shopping in the evening

Nov 15-One on one time with Gabby while running errands. Alexis had a Sunday school party and a region dance.

Nov 16-Myself Sarah and Jason are all sick today. Sarah threw up 6 times. Long day. Christian had his priesthood preview.

Nov 17-FHE Activity night-We wrote letters to Santa and signed Christmas cards and made lists of the kids friends they would like to give gifts to.

Nov 18-Attended Christian and Gabrielle's Parent Teacher conferences and got raving reports for both. We have super teachers this year and great grades to match! CJ is reading on a 10.5 grade reading level! Way to go kids!

Nov 19-Christian was awarded his arrow of light and a ton pins and awards and his first 2 merit badges for Boy Scouts! We are so proud of CJ!

Nov 20-Worked on cutting and weeding our vinyl orders! We are excited to see the beginnings of something good!

Nov 21-Date Night and CJ had a sleepover at his friend Josephs house

Nov 22-YW/Relief Society Combine Stake Service Project and Jason got most of the Christmas lights up on the house while it was warmer

Nov 23-We had a mini thanksgiving dinner tonight after church and Jason brined us a turkey. YUMMY!

Nov 24-FHE lesson night and we learned about righteous traditions

Nov 25-I had a doc appt and found out that my blood pressure was 244/135. I begged the doc to not hospitalize me and got lucky.

Nov 26-Follow up doc appt for me and now my blood pressure is 189/110 down but not out of the woods yet. We are working on defining the meds Also Nans birthday and we went to visit and give her a small gift.

Nov 27-Thanksgiving with the Hills We brought stuffing sweet potatoes and a pecan pie! It is great to visit with everyone and we poured over the black Friday ads together.

Nov 28-Jason and I left to see the train wreck of black Friday about 8am (thanks to my 3 heart meds there was no way to get myself up in time to go at 4 this year) but surprisingly enough there were still many great deals to be had! Lucky us!

Nov 29-We took Alexis to breakfast and to get the weekly groceries, Thanksgiving dinner with the Bitners (I laughed and laughed!! It is great to be with people who have the same sense of humor you do) and then filled vinyl orders and wrote my lesson for Relief Society. Busy great day!

Nov 30-I co-taught the combined RS/Priesthood 5th Sunday lesson and my assigned subjects where dress and appearance, music, dating and sexual purity. Scary I know!!
