This is our Christmas tree last year (2007). We did a green and purple theme because green symbolizes prosperity and purple symbolizes luck in the feng shui world. Jason and I have some fun playing around with feng shui. It is interesting to read and learn about. Thanks Becky! You definitely keep things fun!

Announcing my new painting!!

I am so excited about my new painting given to me by my dear father in law! He combined some of my favorite things and painted with his own hands this oil painting of a pink rose. My favorite flower and color. I love it so much! Thank you just doesnt seem to say how grateful and honored I feel. Thanks Dad! You are so talented!

I know these roses days are numbered but I will atleast be able to be reminded of their beauty when it is snowy and cold and they have gone to sleep until the spring comes back.

Smells like Teen Spirit

I love my Alexis and my Lindsay! They are beautiful both inside and out. I have promised myself that I am going to take my camera back from them and document them and their progression too. I remember when I was their ages and it wasnt long before I had found Jason and had moved on. They will only be with us for a short time now and these days are precious.

Wow so still and perfect...one would almost think it was a picture of a picture....oh my bad, it is. I love these sweet spirits! I love that they have a desire to do what is right. I enjoy that they can have fun without a lot of money spent. It makes me happy that they are happy and love life. Alexis and Lindsay you are the best!!!

Brownie Sneeker!

Before I start my blog just a little disclaimer....My older 2 daughters (especially Lindsay) are taking a lot of pictures of the baby lately and they had better be on the look out because now I have a bunch of shots to get of them to even things out!

Ok with that said...WE HAVE A BROWNIE DOUGH SNEEKER IN OUR HOUSE!!! This time we caught her red handed. Or should I say brown, and wait, it looks like it is mostly on her face so I suppose I should say we caught her brown faced not red handed!!

The Hill Family Birthday Party For September

We get together once a month with the Hill Family at our house to celebrate all of the peeps birthdays who fall in that particular month. These are pictures from September celebrating Dad Hill and Sam. PS forgive my naughty build a bear in the corner, Sophie.....(she likes to wear bikinis even though I have told her and told her to be more modest.) PS the 2 birthday boys are both sitting on the love seat. This is Sam on his 19th Birthday and our grandpa Ed Hill.

I remember doing this....

First of all, it has been along time since I blogged but no time like the present to get things all updated right? About a week ago we had what our kids call a "sun rain" and the flood gates opened up! We took the kids out to play in it! I love how it was nearly up to Sarahs knee.

Sept 3rd-Attended Christians Parent Teacher Conference. We are really excited for his new teacher and a great year with Ms Thompson!!

Sept 4Th-Cleaned my bedroom (BOO!) and Relief Society presidency meeting

Sept 5Th-Date Night And Jason Took me to Roberts and Michael's! What a Sport!

Sept 6Th-Bitner Monthly Birthday Party-Celebrating CJ Jacob and Ben and Seth was in charge of dinner. Nacho Bar! Yummy!.

Sept 7Th-Choir Practice with the kids for "teach me to walk in the light" Performance

Sept 8Th-Babysat Patchy today and we played Imaginiff for game night at FHE.

Sept 9Th-Babysat Patchy today and had Anne Marie Nick Nicco and Ben over for a nice visit! CJ and Gabby missed school because they felt under the weather.

Sept 10Th-Enjoyed having Patchy today, Alexis Gabby and Sarah and I went to an Avid Meeting CJ and Jason went fishing and Lindsay went to a Personal Progress Pig Out Party

Sept 11Th-Great Day with Patchy Hello Day Assembly Lindsay danced in, Relief Society Pres Meeting

Sept 12Th-Date Night Of Course!! (every week without fail)

Sept 13Th-Took Sarah shopping and running errands to get our one on one time with her

Sept 14Th-The kids and Jason sang with the ward choir in sacrament today and I narrated. Teach me to walk...

Sept 15Th-Family Home Evening on morality. (and yes I am drumming in the teen ears)

Sept 17Th-Sarah got her first piggy tails today! They were 2 inches long and sticking straight up and out.

Sept 18Th-Searched all day to find just the right crafts for our wards Super Saturday

Sept 20Th-One on one time with Alexis and we helped Seth pack.

Sept 21st-Monthly Hill Birthday Party Celebrating Ed and Sam, and Nan brought cake and Ice Cream! Thanks for the yummy treat!

Sept 22ND-FHE Activity night-went to Grandma and Grandpa Hills for Harvesting and Grandpa showed us his newest paintings and then we broke into show tunes. Seriously.

Sept 23rd-Got a visit from Grandpa Hill so we could wish him a happy birthday!

Sept 24Th-Wednesday's weekly church activities.

Sept 25Th-Shopped to get everything ready for Jason and Christians camp this weekend with the Scouts and Date Night!

Sept 26Th-Jason and Christian went to a Mountain Man Rendezvous overnighter in Tooele and The Girls and I had a movie Marathon

Sept 27-Monthly Birthday Party with the Bitners celebrating Karen and Alex was in charge of dinner. A Seafood Theme! Yum-O!

Sept 28-Super Saturday Craft Table Display Was A Hit! Erin (I will call her my vinyl lady) you are my hero!!

Sept 29-FHE on Samuel the Lamanite and that we need to be careful to not throw "rocks" at our current prophet.
