Getting in the mood for the Holidays FHE Style!!

These muffin tins are super fun but took a lot more work than I realized when I started off on them. The first session of circle cutting was with my Sister Anne Marie and we had a ball together! I was cutting circles in my sleep by the time we had them all finished up!! LOL!

Gabby's second attempt. Good thinking Gabs!
Gabby and Sarah's first attempt. I think Sarah's little turkey is letting his fate get to him!! LOL!

We made Oreo turkeys and finished up our mini muffin tin advent calendars last night! I am so feeling the holidays and loving it!!

Jasons pictures of the Oquirrh Mountain Temple

Jason sings in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Dedication

The Oquirrh Mountain Temple Dedication was held Aug 21 22 and 23rd with 3 sessions on each day. Jason was called to sing in the 3rd Session Friday at 3pm. It was a lot of hours practicing but well worth the spiritual experience we both enjoyed. How many times does this happen in ones life? Once. PS Jason took these pictures for the choir.

Look what I made!!

I am really starting to love the crafting! I made these scrabble tile pendants for our ward Super Saturday and have fallen in love! There is definitely a learning curve but I have finally worked out the bugs I think...I have a friend who used a photo of her little one and another had her children draw pictures and then shrunk them down to fit and then gave them to her kids teacher. So many possibilities!!

Sarah turns 2 June 8th (yep still trying to catch up)

Aunt Marnee April Uncle Dan Grandma Hill and Grandpa Hill
Our Sweet Sarah Ella turned 2 on June 8th! She is our dear little surprise and we all love her SO MUCH! I am convinced that she is spoiled with love and attention like nothing I have ever seen. Sarah's big sisters and brother absolutely dote on her and she knows it too. Sarah loves butterflies and the color blue very much right now. She was extremely upset on Sunday that she wasn't a blue sparkly butterfly. Her favorite food is anything that doesn't require her sitting down for a meal. She is a snacker. Sarah loves to go to Church and nursery and adores her teachers there. Just yesterday she told me she wanted her sippy filled.. I said OK and started to get up and she told me No I do it myself!! I thought well sure kid you are short what can you do but go ahead and give it a try. Next thing I hear is the water running in the kitchen. I look to see my Sarah hanging from the kitchen sink by her belly and a stool obviously pushed out from under her feet accidentally. She didn't cry or make a peep. She was just looking around at her situation. I could just see her thinking now how am I going to get out of this. I think we are going to have to keep an eye on this one!!

Sarah and Brookelyn

Nana and Aunt Amanda came for the party.

Last day of school and shaving cream fights

It is tradition (dont you know if you do something twice it suddenly becomes tradition LOL) to have a shaving cream fight after school on the last day of school to ring in the summer. Let me just say there is never more fun than can come from 5, buck a piece, shaving cream cans can buy but I will only allow it that one weekend because it is a mess to clean up and it does something very odd the the hair. The kids know to get as much out of it as they can while they can so needless to say they do.
PS we learned that the aloe kind burn a little and will be avoided next year.
